“Transforming ideas into reality is the true power of education. It empowers future generations with knowledge and skills while driving societal progress,” said Dr. S.M. Shashidhar, Chairman of the Institution of Engineers (India), Munirabad Local Centre.

Speaking as the national expert resource person at a special STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) workshop organized under the PM SHRI scheme at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hosapete, on Thursday, Dr. Shashidhar addressed the students.

“STEM plays a key role in finding practical solutions to societal challenges and ignites innovation among students,” Dr. Shashidhar elaborated. He encouraged students by saying, “Keep your curiosity alive, explore new paths, and never stop learning.”

The Principal of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Shri Manohar Lal Jeenger, presided over the event and remarked, “Under the PM SHRI scheme, a series of special programs are being organized to raise awareness and understanding of global phenomena among students. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hosapete, is evolving into a model school providing high-quality education under this initiative.”

The program was compered by Mr. S.K. Prakash, TGT English. PM SHRI Coordinator Mr. B.R.S. Reddy, TGT Social Science, was present at the event. Student Prarthana introduced the guest, while Shreya B. Yadawada delivered the vote of thanks.

The workshop conducted in two sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 students, teachers, and staff. During the session, students engaged in an interactive dialogue with Dr. Shashidhar, gaining valuable insights and answers to their questions.
