 "Big goals, big thoughts can lead to great achievements," said Swami Sri Nirbhayananda Saraswati, President of Gadag Vijayapura Ramakrishna Ashram, emphasizing the importance of high goals.

He spoke on the topic 'Human Evolution’ in a lecture program held on Thursday afternoon jointly by Mechanical Department of Rao Bahadur Mahabaleshwarappa Engineering College, Ballari and the Institution of Engineers, Munirabad.

"In the veins of Indians flows a legacy of greatness. Our nation possesses a distinctive aptitude for unravelling the intricacies of science and mathematics, leading to unparalleled accomplishments both within our borders and on the global stage. We stand as a beacon of global intelligence," he said.

Elaborating on the profound wisdom embedded in the Vedas and the intrinsic aspects of Sanatan Dharma, he underscored the imperative to dispel prevailing misconceptions surrounding these venerable teachings.

"As you transition from the realm of student life to the broader challenges of existence, it becomes essential to fortify yourself with competence, responsibility, honesty, and a flexible ethical attitude. To navigate the complexities of life, one must cultivate a ‘Total Quality Personality’, marked by unique features, to truly attain success," he imparted.

After the lecture, Swamiji's interaction was arranged. Institution of Engineers Chairman Dr. S. M. Shashidhar, RYM Engineering College Principal Dr. Hanumantha Reddy, Vice-Principal Dr. Savitha Sonoli, Head of the Mechanical Department Dr. Kori Nagaraj, Professors Dr. M. Chandragowda, Dr. Veerabhadrappa Alagur, staff and students of the college participated in this program.

 “ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುರಿ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು”ಎಂದು ಗದಗ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿರ್ಭಯಾನಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಅವರು ಉನ್ನತ ಗುರಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

 ಅವರು ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯ ರಾವ್ ಬಹದ್ದೂರ್ ವೈ ಮಹಾಬಲೇಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ವಿಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು   ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಷನ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ಸ್ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಮಾನವ ವಿಕಾಸ’ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

 “ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಗಣಿತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಭಾರತೀಯರಿಗೆ ಇದೆ.   ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಅದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ನಮ್ಮದು ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬುದ್ದಿವಂತ ಜನಾಂಗವೆಂಬುದು ಸಾಬೀತಾಗಿದೆ”.ಎಂದು  ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವೇದಗಳ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸನಾತನ ಧರ್ಮದ ಅಂತರ್ಗತ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರಚಲಿತ ತಪ್ಪುಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. .

“ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಜೀವನದ ನಂತರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಸವಾಲುಗಳು ಎದುರಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಎದುರಿಸಲು ನೀವು ಸನ್ನದ್ಧರಾಗಬೇಕು  ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ, ನೈತಿಕತೆ, ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮನೋಭಾವಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.  ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಅನನ್ಯ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯಗಳ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವಅಪೇಕ್ಷಣೀಯವಾಗಿದೆ”  ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

 

ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸದ ನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರ ಸಂವಾದವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಷನ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ.ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಶಶಿಧರ್, ರಾವ್ ಬಹದ್ದೂರ್ ವೈ ಮಹಾಬಲೇಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ. ಹನುಮಂತರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಉಪ-ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸವಿತಾ ಸೋನೋಳಿ, ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ದ ಡಾ. ಕೋರಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್, ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಡಾ. ಎಂ. ಚಂದ್ರಗೌಡ, ಡಾ. ವೀರಭದ್ರಪ್ಪ ಆಲಗೂರ್, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
