IEI, Munirabad Centre Sets Ambitious Agenda for 2023-25 Term


The first meeting of the Executive Committee for the term 2023-25 at the Institution of Engineers Munirabad Local Centre convened on November 18, 2023, under the Chairmanship of Dr. SM Shashidhar. Steering the proceedings with finesse, Honorary Secretary Dr. P Sharath Kumar orchestrated a productive discourse among committee members hailing from diverse disciplines across Ballari, Vijayanagara, Koppal, and Raichur districts.


The pivotal session saw the committee make significant strides, including greenlighting the launch of the Munirabad Centre's web portal. Additionally, plans were solidified for a series of engaging programs throughout the upcoming year and a robust membership drive.


The meeting decided that the National Energy Conservation Day event will be held at RYM Engineering College in Ballari, and the upcoming National Science Day will take place at VV Sangha's Degree College, PDIT campus in Hospet.


A noteworthy focus of the new executive committee is elevating and optimizing the utilization of structures sprawled over an expansive 3000-yard area. Nestled in the scenic embrace of the Tungabhadra Dam's lake view, the Munirabad Centre promises a picturesque ambiance. As the committee sets its sights on the future, this blog looks forward to unfolding the journey of these ambitious initiatives that promise to leave an indelible mark on the local engineering landscape.


Representatives from diverse divisions, including Smt. Rajani Umapathi, Smt. Lata Hiremath, Sri Syed Nadeem Ulla Quadri, Dr. Hanumesh, Dr. Ramappa K.T, Dr. Sharnagouda Hiregoudar, Sri Naveenkumar H, Dr. Chandragowda M, Sri Naveen R, Sri Shubash.S.Antalmarad, and Permanent Invitee Sri Prahalad, along with several others, actively participated in the meeting.
